Cool bot, especially for one of your first bots! Just a few tips that might help: - You can use "back(100)" rather than "ahead(100)" if you wish - Though you may have found otherwise, in your subroutine "core", you reset the variable "hits", and thus in your hit{} subroutine the statement "if (hits==2 or hits==4 or hits==6)" will never be true since Core may be run between hits. Otherwise a good bot and I agree, that is a very interesting "kill" subroutine. It isn't a bad way of tracking... More versions of tracking could include a similar way method, although there would be more constant scanning. I believe you would need to have blocking OFF, though, so for a robot without blocking it is, in my opinion, a good idea.
Keep up the ideas and you'll go far! |
